Automation By Meir ("we", "us") operates DreamCoach and is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you register, we collect your name and email address via Google Sign-In or direct email/password authentication.

Dream Journal Data: The dream descriptions you submit, along with associated dates and AI-generated analyses, are stored in your personal journal.

Usage Data: We track how many analyses you run per month for free-tier enforcement. We do not track detailed browsing behavior.

Payment Information: Subscription payments are processed by PayPal. We do not store credit card or payment details on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the DreamCoach service.
• To generate AI-powered dream analysis using your submitted descriptions.
• To manage your account, subscription, and usage limits.
• To send you service-related emails (welcome, analysis confirmations, monthly summaries). You can opt out of non-essential emails from Settings.
• To respond to your support requests.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Google Firebase (Firestore), protected by Google's enterprise-grade security infrastructure. Access is controlled by Firebase Security Rules that ensure each user can only access their own data.

We use industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

4. AI Processing

Your dream descriptions are sent to Google's Vertex AI / Gemini for analysis. This processing is governed by Google's data processing terms. Dream text is used only to generate your analysis and is not used to train Google's models per our API agreement.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We share data only with:

• Google Firebase/Vertex AI — for cloud infrastructure and AI analysis.
• PayPal — for payment processing.
• Law enforcement, when required by valid legal process.

6. Cookies and Local Storage

We use browser localStorage to store your authentication session token and UI preferences (e.g., onboarding completion status). We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

7. Data Retention

Your account and dream data are retained as long as your account is active. When you delete your account (via Settings → Account → Delete Account), all personal data and dream entries are permanently deleted within 30 days.

8. Your Rights

• Access: You can view all your dream journal entries on the Dashboard at any time.
• Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data from Settings at any time.
• Portability: You can export your analyses as text files from the Analysis page.
• GDPR / CCPA: If you are in the EU or California, you have additional rights. Contact us at service@dream-analytics.com to exercise them.

9. Children's Privacy

DreamCoach is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us immediately.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
